The team is also keen to investigate new and exciting ways to
get their members active. Late last year the centre very
successfully tried the new fitness / dance craze -- Zumba --
which will be introduced again in 2010. Kick Boxing, Belly
Dancing,Tai Chi and a NEW over 55's Program are just some
of the great new things to look out for this year.
There is also a crew of personal trainers ready to assist you to
reach your New Year's resolution with the new Maximum
Results Personal Training Packages catering from the super fit,
to those just wanting to shed those Christmas kilos.
Current expressions of interest are being taken for a "Modern
Debutante Ball" to be held in July, organised by Bacchus Marsh
Leisure Centre, this is set to be a huge night.
In the stadium things are equally as exciting, with the
Gymnastics Squad now being affiliated with Gymnastics
Victoria and some exciting new birthday party themes.
Also, don't forget that the centre operates a fully licensed
crèche five mornings a week to help you get some all
impor tant "me time".
Both of the swimming pools at Ballan and Bacchus Marsh,
which had extensive renovation work done during the off-
season, have been drawing large crowds over the summer and
the new aqua balls have proved to be very popular with kids
of all ages.
The pools will be open from 11am until 7pm, seven days a
week until Sunday, 14 March 2010. They may be open outside
of these times subject to prevailing weather conditions and
Council approval. If the temperature is below 20oC at the
scheduled time for opening, or if temperatures are very high,
the hours will then be at the discretion of the pool manager.
