CELEBRATING THE PEOPLE OF OUR

Community Calendar, featuring a collection of 12 profiles of
Moorabool Shire's unique and diverse communities.
It showcases Moorabool, capturing the ingredients of what
makes Moorabool a great place to be.

Community Calendar produced by the Community
Calendar Representative Committee, a group of volunteers
from the towns featured in the calendar, in par tnership with
Moorabool Shire Council. From July to October, the
Representative Committee and Council officer s work
closely over many hours to produce the calendar.
The calendar lists impor tant reminder dates such as school
holidays, public holidays, community events and Council
ser vices. You will also find a collection of useful contact
numbers of local businesses within the Shire on these pages.
Calendar s are available for sale through selected local
community groups and at Council offices for $5 each.

documents and the priorities contained in them will now
be the focus of community efforts over the next few

MCIA - THE NEXT STAGE
The Communities in Action team will now move on to
another four communities to assist them in developing
their Community Action Plans over the next six months.
The communities we will work with will be;
• Greendale (incorporating Greendale and Dales Creek)
• Balliang (incorporating Balliang, East Balliang, Parwan,
Rowsley, Glenmore and Yaloak Vale)
• Ballan (incorporating Ballan, Bunding and Bradshaw)
• Bungaree (incorporating Bungaree,Wallace, Millbrook,
Dunnstown, Leigh Creek and Warrenheip)

out for information on how you can be involved in the
